Emma and John were married at The Mansion Inn in Rock City Falls. The couple lives in NYC but Emma is from Upstate New York so they chose the area she grew up in as the location for their wedding weekend.
Emma and John chose this historic mansion which was the perfect place for their celebration. The couple was able to get ready inside the main house, the ceremony was held in the yard by the big pond, cocktails were in the English Garden along the side of the main house, dinner was in the tent on the deck, and dancing took place inside the barn. It was a great use of all of the different spaces on property.
Emma and John had really beautiful details in their day, such as the reception table runners which were hand dyed by Emma’s mom, crystals in the trees that sparkled from the trees, and colorful uplights to set the party mood in the barn. And I loved that they used a sparkler “send off” to transition their guests from dinner in the tent to dancing the barn.
I really enjoyed working with Emma and John and I am so excited for their lifetime of happiness!
